This is just one of many examples of how they're trying to make it seem like you're the bad guy if you pay with cash. Funny thing is that I was just in getting gas for my car the other day and there were 4 people in front of me. Each of them paid with credit cards. It took about 8 minutes to get out of the store. One guy had to try three different cards before he got approved. When I got to the cashier, I handed her 3 crisp ten dollar bills and walked away smiling and thinking about these STUPID ads!
